First week in Tasmania - Devonport to Strahan

We took the ferry from Melbourne to Tasmania and found ourselves in a totally different side of Australia that we did not know yet. Hills, lakes, forests and mountains were back and it is also the part of Australia where we met a lot of cyclists again. Click to read more and watch our new video.

We enjoyed a couple of relaxed days close to Adelaide and started our way to Melbourne on our bikes. First we cycled inland before we got on the beautiful Great Ocean Road. Click to read more and watch our new video.

3 weeks around Perth with our parents

Our parents came to visit us for Christmas and New Years and we had an amazing time exploring Perth and the Australian South West together. We had a rented motor home for a while and the rest of the time we spent in holiday houses in Perth, Albany, Busselton and Jurien Bay. Click to read more and watch our new video.

We had a great trip to Esperance and could see all the stunning white beaches. Back in Perth we also had some crystal clear blue water around our hosts' sailing boat. Click to read more.

The Munda Biddi Trail is one of the longest cycle trails in the world and leads you from Perth to Albany through the Southwestern karri and jarrah forests and along the coast. We left Perth and wanted to cycle the whole trail, but we struggled a bit and had to realize that it is a real mountain bike trail that we are not equipped for. Click to read more.

After spending a pretty long time along the West Coast, we started our last leg to Perth along the Indian Ocean Drive. Click to read more!
